Operating precautions of LTDSY-VI cable identification instrument: 1) Before field cable identification, the signal amplitude should be tested at the signal transmitting end. If there is no signal or the signal is weak, you can short press the “function button” to increase the gain until there is an obvious effective signal. The signal is used as the identification basis in the test. Please do not change the gain gear at will to make the characteristics of the identification signal deviate from the characteristics of the test signal. It also belongs to instrument cable.
2) During power outage identification, the unused cores should be suspended to prevent the signal from returning from the cable to be identified and offset the injected signal.
3) During live identification, the receiving coil test should be kept at a distance of 1 meter away from the transmitting caliper to avoid direct induction of the signal from the transmitting caliper by the receiving coil. If the effective signal is still not received after the gain is increased, check whether there is a break in the cable armor layer or the grounding at both ends of the cable is unreliable. According to the situation, the two ends of the cable should be grounded effectively or grounded separately before and after the armouring is disconnected, and then segmented.
4) During live identification, after the transmitting caliper is inserted into the cable to be identified, it should keep a certain distance from the adjacent cables, otherwise the signal will be coupled to the adjacent cables, and the adjacent cables will have strong signals at the same time. If the adjacent cables cannot be separated, the gain gear should be lowered, and the cables to be identified and adjacent cables should be measured separately near the injected signal of the caliper, and the cables to be identified can be distinguished as far as possible by the amplitude.
5) During live identification, if the signal can be received near the caliper, but the signal cannot be received at the site to be identified or the signal is too small, it means that the armor shielding layer of the cable to be identified has a grounding point. Identify the areas where they suddenly become smaller or disappear, or after the cable is powered off, ground the core wires at the beginning and end of the cable, and use the core wires as a signal loop for identification.
6) After the transmitter is turned on, the output terminal will output pulse high voltage intermittently. Please do not touch the metal part of the output terminal and the connecting wire. Generally, the output clamp should be connected in advance, and the power should be turned off before the power is turned on and disconnected to avoid electric shock!
